"Curtains are truly underrated when it comes to Interior Design. With the right placement and length, curtains can change the entire dynamics of a room, giving it more volume, light, and a sense of space. So next time you consider refreshing a room, start by reviewing your curtain choices. It can make all the difference!"
- Sarah Widman

Step 1: Decide on what experience and functionality your curtain should bring to your room.

At first glance, curtians they may seem like just a privacy shield or a decorative touch. But they have the ability to transform the entire experience of a room. They set the mood, create warmth, provide privacy, and improve the room's acoustics. With the right strategy, curtains can change your room in ways you never imagined. Let’s explore how!

 - Want to create a sense of space?
Have you ever felt that your room is small or the ceiling feels too low? The solution can be as simple as how you hang your curtains. By hanging the curtains from the ceiling to the floor, the room immediately feels larger. This vertical line draws the eye upward, giving the illusion of higher ceilings and more space.

 - Want to widen your window?
Another common problem in rooms is windows that feel too small or narrow. But there’s a solution for this too. By placing the curtains on each side of the window – in other words, slightly wider than the window itself – you visually widen the entire window area. Not only does this make the window appear larger, but it also lets in more daylight, contributing to a sense of a larger and more airy room.

 - Want to enlarge the entire room?
If you really want to maximize the experience of your room, consider hanging curtains along the entire wall. With a ceiling track that spans the full width of the wall and curtains hanging from ceiling to floor, you can create a dramatic transformation. This method is especially recommended for smaller rooms where you want to maximize the feeling of space.

  3. Measure at two to three different points and note the shortest measurement.

If you want your curtains to float above the floor:
Subtract 1-2 cm from your measurement.

If you want your curtain to lightly rest on the floor:
Add 3 cm to your measurement
